# Regions

> Where briqs run and how a team picks its region.

Each **team** has a region, chosen at creation and changeable in Settings. A briq runs in its
team's region at the time it is created and stays there; changing the region affects new briqs
only.

| `paris` (default) | Europe        | yes                  |
| `virginia`        | North America | no                   |
| `singapore`       | Asia-Pacific  | no                   |

Region ids are stable. `GET /v1/me` returns the regions on offer.

Prices, endpoints and lifetimes are the same everywhere. The team's private network spans regions:
a database in Paris and a worker in Singapore reach each other.
